🙃What is the Shiatsu massage??
The word “Shiatsu” comes from two Japanese words, “shi” meaning finger and “atsu” meaning pressure. Shiatsu massage originates from Japan, but they are influenced and inherited by many other traditional massage methods.

 

🧐How Shiatsu massage works??
As in acupressure, practitioners of shiatsu apply pressure t o points on the body thought to be connected to pathways called “meridians”. By stimulating these points, such therapists aim to promote the flow of vital energy and facilitate healing.
When performing shiatsu, therapists apply deep pressure using their fingers, palms, thumbs, fore arms and elbows in a continuous sequence. The finger or elbows are used to press and keep in few seconds.
